Why should you join choir?

Scholarships Available!

Merit based scholarships are offered to choir students, regardless of their major. The earlier you apply and audition, the better your chances of receiving a scholarship. Be sure to complete the FAFSA application by the deadline to get the most aid.

All Choir students are eligible for a Choir Scholarship, regardless of your major

Auditions

You will be assessed to identify and determine your vocal range, timbre and musical memory. Additionally, you will be asked to sight-sing a short excerpt.

SONG SELECTIONS

Two Contrasting Pieces

  • One classical or folk song

  • One hymn, spiritual, jazz, popular or musical theatre selection

 

NOTE: You may choose to perform two classical songs if you prefer.
