Class of 1969 | Inducted 2025
Phil Judson graduated from Corsicana High School in 1968. After graduation from high school, he enrolled in Navarro College, where he attended until May of 1969. Phil then enrolled at Texas Tech University in August of 1969. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1973. After graduation in 1973, Phil returned to Corsicana and began working for Winters Oil Partners. Phil retired after forty-five years in the Wholesale Fuel Business. Phil has been a Board Member for the Texas Oil Marketer Association. He is currently the Board President of Compassion Corsicana and Navarro College Board Trustee Chairman.
Phil began his service on the Navarro College Board of Trustees in 2008 and was elected Chairman in 2018. Throughout his tenure, he has exemplified wisdom, integrity, and an unwavering dedication to the students, faculty, and administration of Navarro College. Under his thoughtful leadership, the college has not only flourished in its academic endeavors but has also strengthened its commitment to innovation and community impact.
Phil’s deep sense of “Bulldog Pride” shines through in everything he does. He embodies the spirit of service above self—not merely through decisions made, but through a profound sense of purpose and a heartfelt passion for empowering generations of learners. His legacy is one of impact, inspiration, and steadfast devotion to the future of Navarro College.
Phil has been married to his wife, Darlene Judson, for fifty-four years. They have two sons; Matt and his wife Carrie, and Jody and his wife Lindsey. They have a total of five grandchildren: Charlie, Calame, Dakota, Jocelyn, and Lydia. Phil and Darlene are members of the First Baptist Church.
